How to play Azeroth Survivors: your first run

Open the original game, choose a class, learn the controls, and make your first upgrade without getting lost.

Open the original game

Start at wow.aethus.pl, the creator’s original game. Keep that tab open while you use this guide. The first load may need time to download resources.

If a game window on another site asks you to visit the real page, follow that link. Repeatedly refreshing the window will not remove that restriction.

Choose a class, then read its menu

There are nine class names in the original character menu. Pick a theme you enjoy, then read the starting spell shown for that character. A class list is a reference, not a promise that one choice will always be strongest.

Compare the classes and note what you want to try. Use the region that is available to your current character.

Move before you worry about a perfect build

The creator’s v0.103.1 menu lists WASD, or holding both mouse buttons, for movement. It lists Enter to begin, 1 / 2 / 3 to choose cards, and R to reroll. Click inside the game before using the keyboard. Follow the prompts in your version if they change.

Your abilities cast automatically. Keep a route open through the enemies and collect experience when you can reach it safely.

Read the choices at each level

Pause to read what each offered card actually changes. Decide whether it adds an ability or improves one you already have. You can only choose from the cards offered in that run; an ideal list is not a guaranteed sequence.

Use the run notebook to record choices, the point where you struggled, and one thing to try next time.

Keep what you learn

A run that ends early can still teach you something. Record your class, region, abilities and the situation that ended it. Before changing browsers or computers, export your save from the original game.

Sources and scope

We checked the launcher and relevant menus. A menu check is not a complete-run benchmark. Follow current in-game prompts when the game changes.
