Azeroth Survivors Hunter build: lifesteal & cooldown priorities
Plan an Azeroth Survivors Hunter build from Auto Shot. Read an attributed player example, check its limits, and keep useful run notes.
Hunter starts with Auto Shot in the checked menu. Its description emphasizes ranged attacks, traps and keeping your distance. The equipment priorities below come from one player’s recording, not a controlled comparison of every Hunter setup.

Choose upgrades for the problem in front of you
You keep losing space
Record where enemies cut off your route. Compare the offered effect with the problem you see; more theoretical damage does not automatically solve a positioning failure.
Recovery equipment becomes available
Sigmun’s description puts a lifesteal ring or necklace first. Treat that as the recording’s stated priority and check the current item text and your existing equipment.
You are choosing a cooldown item
The same description prefers cooldown trinkets, or cooldown rings if those are unavailable, before further damage. It does not establish that an XP trinket was tested.

Sigmun’s Hunter priority notes
The creator’s original description prioritizes lifesteal ring or necklace, then cooldown trinkets (or cooldown rings), then damage. It says the second run demonstrates the scaling and explicitly leaves XP trinkets untested.

A repeatable experiment for your next run
Record recovery equipment, cooldown sources and offensive upgrades in separate lines. Compare only runs with similar permanent progress. Note whether recovery was actually needed and whether you could keep a safe route.
- Class, region and difficulty.
- Permanent equipment and talents already available.
- Offered cards, your choices and any missing item.
- The situation that ended the run, or the objective you reached.
This selects a class in the notebook. It does not choose upgrades or change your game save; save or export your notes when you want to keep them.
Before copying another player’s build
Check the version, region, difficulty and permanent investment. A highly developed character can perform differently from a fresh one, even with similarly named spells.
Use the current card descriptions and keep a backup before moving to another browser or build. If a guide shows different controls or maps, check whether it describes the community reconstruction rather than the original.
Common questions
Should every Hunter use an XP trinket?
The linked player description explicitly says XP trinkets were not tested. It does not provide evidence for a universal XP-trinket recommendation.
Will this build be selected automatically in the game?
No. These are reference notes. You still choose the cards offered in the original game, and the notebook stores only your planning text.
